Volunteer at the Summer Fair
We can’t run the Summer Fair without volunteers - and you don’t need to commit to the whole day. Even 45–60 minutes helps.
What volunteering looks like
You can help in whatever way fits your life:
- One-off shifts (set-up, during an event, pack-down)
- Behind-the-scenes help (donations, printing, social posts, admin)
- Trade skills / practical help (DIY, maintenance, light repairs, garden projects)
- Micro-volunteering (one quick task when you’re free)
If you can’t volunteer time, donations and raffle prizes also make a big impact.
Safeguarding & expectations
We’re a school community and we take this seriously.
- All volunteers will get a quick briefing on the day (who to report to, what to do if you’re unsure, where first aid is, etc.).
- Volunteers must follow school safeguarding instructions and our PTA code of conduct.
Summer Fair Volunteers
We’d love your help to make the Summer Fair run smoothly - even if you can only spare one short shift.
You don’t need experience, just a willingness to muck in.
Important: This year the stall area is outdoors, so we need extra help with gazebos and outdoor set-up/pack-down.
Volunteers receive a burger and drink - free of charge
